In de maakindustrie wordt assemblage steeds complexer. Kennis zit vaak in hoofden van mensen, overdracht gaat via papier of mondeling, en processen zijn lastig te borgen. Terwijl juist hier het verschil wordt gemaakt tussen stilstand en vooruitgang.

Baseboard is ontstaan vanuit één overtuiging:
assemblage verdient een stevig digitaal fundament.
Eén centrale plek waarin kennis vastligt, overdraagbaar is én continu verbetert.

Wij helpen maakbedrijven om hun assemblageprocessen structureel vast te leggen, beheren en verbeteren — zodat kennis niet verloren gaat, maar beschikbaar blijft voor iedereen in het proces.
Onze ambitie
We prefer to spend time doing the things we think are important. The frustration of standalone work instructions, manually picking out parts lists and printed checklists: sometimes, as a machine manufacturer, you spend too much time on all those separate documents. And meanwhile, those work instructions are not up to date, the mechanic is missing the right parts, and the completed FAT checklist for that one machine is nowhere to be found. What if you could manage all that in one, centralized system?

What started as an idea in 2020 really took shape in 2023. Jasper, an experienced production engineer, and Frank, a seasoned software architect, joined forces and started Baseboard. Together we help manufacturing companies and machine builders regain control of their production process. In an open and honest way.

Wie we zijn
Baseboard is opgericht door Jasper - production engineer met de voeten stevig in de higtech machinebouw - en Frank — een doorgewinterde software engineer en architect.

Vanuit onze eigen praktijkervaring zagen we hoe lastig het is om proceskennis goed vast te leggen. Dat moet anders. Daarom zijn we Baseboard gestart. Met ons team ontwikkelen we off-the-shelf software voor en met het mkb.
