Managing issues
Managing issues requires rapid identification and systematic resolution of production problems, but fragmented communication and unclear follow-up make this process chaotic and ineffective.
Continuous improvement
'What happened to my feedback?'
Managing issues in production environments is often a chaotic affair, with problems being reported through various channels – from verbal communications to post-it notes and emails. Important information such as photos, context and cause is lost in the transfer between different people and departments. Without structured issue tracking, problems remain unresolved or are forgotten, leading to recurring issues and production losses. The person who reported the issue rarely receives feedback on progress, which reduces confidence in the system.
Baseboard centralises all issues in a single digital system where problems can be reported immediately with photos, serial numbers and context. Each report is automatically assigned a unique number and can be assigned to the appropriate person. Real-time status updates allow reporters and management to always see where the issue is in the resolution process.

The system builds a problem database that reveals patterns and recurring issues. By documenting root cause analysis for each solution, similar problems can be resolved more quickly or even prevented in the future. This creates a learning cycle that increases overall process stability and structurally reduces the time spent on issue resolution.
