Customer case: ChargeHyve
At ChargeHyve, they faced a major problem: their assembly documentation was unstructured, out of date, and took a lot of time and effort to update. This led to inefficiency and errors in the production process.
The situation
ChargeHyve approached us with a problem: assembly documentation such as work instructions and checklists was fragmented and outdated in their Google Workspace. With a product still in development, knowledge of the assembly processes was mainly stored in people's heads. This made it difficult to transfer that knowledge.
Jorg Wellink, founder and CEO of ChargeHyve, was immediately enthusiastic when he received a personal demonstration from us. Jorg: ‘With Baseboard, we have found a solution that not only digitises our documentation, but also transforms our entire way of working.’
We sat down with Jorg to draw up a success plan. What goals do you want to achieve with Baseboard? And what pain points do you want to alleviate? That way, we keep each other on our toes.
We then held a kick-off meeting with everyone involved, from engineering to assembly. We immediately got to work on part of the product. How do you easily implement that in Baseboard?
The support was not limited to the software alone. We also support the ChargeHyve team in a broader sense by sharing our experience in the manufacturing industry. Jorg again: ‘The Baseboard team is always available, thinks proactively, and offers support that goes beyond just using the software.’

The approach
The future
Jorg sees the collaboration growing even further in the future. ‘Baseboard is not just a tool, but a strategic partner that helps us accelerate and improve our assembly process.’ We do this, for example, by keeping a close eye on developments at ChargeHyve. ‘With Baseboard, we are leaving outdated and inefficient working methods behind and building a scalable production process that is ready for ChargeHyve's growth,’ says Jorg.
